Some of my friends may argue that examining the technical authenticity of the video is of no use. But I believe it is very important so as to put things in perspective and to not let our emotionalism and our fears be used or misused for anyone else’s agenda. There are 260 baluch women missing and some or most of them might be imprisoned and treat as sex slaves. There are millions of internally displaced Pakistanis in Pakistan. There bombings taking place on almost a daily basis in Pakistan. Why does a video (the authenticity of which is still to be confirmed) upsets us more than any of the above issues? And as a friend put it, ‘when are we going to stop dancing one someone else’s tunes‘?

thats write that you have put this article up and ofcourse, we should not go with the flow, especially the flow created bycoporate media, even then, whatever taliban has done, leaving thsi video aside…what they have done by beheading people, by shaving them just because they were listening to music, by burning hundreds of girls schools…nothing justifies that…nothing…and how long will we keep blaming America…the evil is inside us too..and we have to deal with it, with all the left over integrity..its our future which is at stake, and it is our lives which are being ruined.
