Israr Atal is a pashtun poet and lecturer from Mardan.
The original poem (recited probably by the poet himself) can be heard on YouTube. The title of this video is misleading so please ignore it. The images and the music used is, however, very relevant to the poem as well as to whatever is going on in NWFP (now KPK) province.
