Read Morten Andersen report at United Nation Climate Change Conference or as is commonly known the COP 15 Copenhagen about how British manufacturers have helped the country to become a top exporter of small wind turbines in this report titled “Small is Beautiful“.
The title of the story, somehow reminds me of “The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind“, namely, William Kamwkwamba; a poor teenage villager who built a wind turbine from scrap after getting help from local village’s library books. His story has been narrated in a book called “The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind”. His blog is here and one can follow him on twitter as well. his twitter page is here. Read more about this courageous young man at his Wikipedia page.
