People end up on my blog using different search terms. Below are some of the major terms, some which are quite interesting. To some extent, these keywords and key phrases provide an insight into the kind of issues people are concerned about.
The last set (Number 5) of key phrases is my favorite.
I have also put a link to the relevant blog post of mine where the searcher probably landed upon searching.

rat finding mines?
RAT MAN PAKISTAN??? comm’on people… call zardari by his name already!
“rat finding mines”… thats one phrase someone used to reach my blogpost…
thought this website would be relevant to your blog:
http://www.poetry-chaikhana.com/
it can be subscribed to as well by email and sends daily poems. The hit/miss ratio is pretty decently in favor of the former, quite enjoyable as well.
Ah..hmm, interesting. Google Analytics is an excellent, excellent tool. I agree users search the wakkiest terms to get to blogs. I’ve had some vogue furniture, and that’s no on my personal blog. Anyway, rants aside I come to your blog becaus you found mine. Perhaps I’d rather not know how you came upon it, though
I see you’ve linked up writers forums; perhaps you’d like to add Desi Writers Lounge to your list? Shameless self promotion, I know. Check it out, though! We need someone to beef up The Journalist and The Abstract Thinker sections. And with that morsel of hopefully luring information, I bid thee farewell.
Goot bai!
oh crap…wackiest! Not wakkiest.
Hi mp. Thanks for stopping by.
I don’t use google analytics for this site.. the worpress tool seems good enough. But surely overture and google analytics are good tools..
Unfortunately I really don’t keep a record of how I came across the various blogs I happen to land upon, Plus I guess it doesn’t really matter anyway
Desi Writers site sounds interesting. Do you mind sharing the URL?
http://www.desiwriterslounge.net. Take a look, see if you like it; our fourth e-zine issue will be released mid Jan.
Looking over my post, I think I may have suffered a minor heart attack at the number of typos in my post. As the so-called “Writer’s Monica”, I hang my head in shame. Sigh.

@mp:
Thanks for the link. I do remember coming across it long time ago.
I will look into it in detail soon inshAllah.
Don’t worry about the typos : ). We all do it.
@Ghazala:
Thanks for your message and the interview request. Mine is really a humble attempt at sharing things I hold important as I mentioned in the email. But for details please view your email.
And thanks!
You’ve linked to Libre Magazine. Pardon the cat’s curiosity but you don’t happen to be involved in Libre, do you? If not, nice to know we’re permeating through…:)
Hehe… you really seem to be a fan of my blog list. Good to know that!
I kinda know the people behind Libre Magazine. But I am not involved apart from getting a couple of pieces published there..
Oh now, we have something in common. I know one of the editors behind Libre incidentally by commenting on her blog! I’m evil that way, it would seem.
As for being a fan of your blog list, you have a ton of good links in there. Nice to know there are other Fisk and Chomsky fans out there.
Back to the original thread of thought, Libre was interested in partnering with DWL which was why I thought you may be involved in the site and hence that’s where you may have heard of us. My complete thought process.
“To some extent, these keywords and key phrases provide an insight into the kind of issues people are concerned about”
I agree partially,I think this is partially surfing,partially net addiction,partially research,and partiall “the kind of issues people are concerned about”
wah jee, being scopped up here and there
but apart from that – and no disrespect intended here – i refuse to address you by anything but “Dear and Respected” from now on
@sidrah:
hehe…. no need for such titles…
Plus, turst me, I am being over-estimated
