The Mystic’s Muses

“How can I lose faith in the justice of life, when the dreams of those who sleep upon feathers are not more beautiful than the dreams of those who sleep upon the earth?” – Khalil Gibran

Tribal Lashkars

Tribesmen living along the Durand Line have valiantly fought against foreign invaders since long. They resisted the Mughals and the British forces. They fought against India to liberate a part of Kashmir now known as AJK by Pakistanis after the British Commander-In-Chief of Pakistan’s Army refused to invade Kashmir denying Qaid-e-Azam’s orders. They also helped Pakistan and Afghanistan to free tha later from Russian Red Bear. Thanks to the valiant, patriotic and fully armed local tribesmen, Pakistan had never needed to guard its Durand border. This changed when US and Allied forces occupied Afghanistan. US pressure forced Pakistan to deploy its forces in this region in order to stop Al-Qaeda, Taleban and local tribesmen from waging a Jihad against Afghan and US forces within Afghanistan. ‘

Things change quickly and soon we saw acts of terrorism taking place on the soil of Pakistan. Many blame the so-called Pakistani Taleban for this all. Others smell fishy foreign intervention in the form of RAW, Mosad, CIA,  Norther Alliance of Aghanistan, KHAD, and last but not least, KGB.

The local tribe seemed to be perpelxed, silent and semi-nuetral (if not loyal to the Taleban). Now, finally, it seems as if they are rising against the fake Taleban.

I wonder if they would be clever enough to expect and cope with all the bloody, dirty, inter-agency, multinational, multiple proxy wars seems to be taking place on their soil.
